WTC FInal Winner prediction

Before the ICC World Test Championship Final between India and Australia at The Oval, a number of cricket legends gave their opinions. Before this exciting match started in London, Ricky Ponting from Australia, Ravi Shastri from India, Wasim Akram from Pakistan, Ian Bell from England, and Ross Taylor from New Zealand all sat together.

Here’s what the fifth great thinks about the match before it starts on Wednesday.

Ricky Ponting – Choosing: Australia

Ricky Ponting, a former leader of Australia, thought that the Rohit Sharma team was a little harder than Australia because of India’s hard choice of players and the conditions in Britain. “Australia is better,” Ponting said. India’s team has a lot of worries about who will play and who will get hurt.

Without KL Rahul and (Jasprit) Bumrah, and with Umesh Yadav hurt, the question is who will be the wicket-keeper: Ishan Kishan or KS Bharat? I think Australia will be more stable, and if you look at the weather here in early June, it’s more like Australia than India.

But everyone knows how well India played the last time they were in Australia. So, because they work hard, Australia is a little bit better off.

Ravi Shastri – Choosing: Whoever gives the first blow

Ravi Shastri, a famous former Indian player and coach, didn’t want to say which team would be the choice, but he thought that early momentum would be important when the match started on Wednesday. Shastri said, “It’s not easy to win this one-time game.

If you look at how these two teams are doing right now, you can see that they haven’t played a big game in a while. India has played a lot of Twenty20 cricket, but Australia hasn’t played in a long time, with the exception of Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne, who have played a little in local competitions.

On the first day, I think the key will be the first hit. I think the key player for Australia will be Pat Cummins, and I think the key player for India will be Mohammed Shami.

Wasim Akram – Choosing: Australia

Wasim Akram, a famous bowler from Pakistan, thinks that the conditions in June will be better for the Australian attack, giving them a small edge. Wasim said, “In the last two years, both teams has displayed their potential to be the best in the world, and yes offcourse this is why they are in the finals”.

Teams from the subcontinent usually do well on this pitch, but when we come here on tour, we play our last Test match here in late August or early September.

But this time, the game was in early June, so the field was new and different, and the Dukes were using a different ball. So, I think Australia is a little bit more likely to win this match, even though Josh Hazlewood isn’t there and he would have helped a lot. In the last few years, India has done well against Australia.

They just won a series at home 2-1, so this will be a very close match, which is the beauty of the Test World Cup. I’m a little bit sad because there was nothing like this when I was younger. Imagine trying to be the best team in the world!

Australia has a slight edge in this game, but the weather, the pitch and the Dukes ball all play a role. Every session is important. Australia might win one session, but India might catch up in the next. And yes its the beauty of the Test Cricket.

Ian Bell – Choosing: Whoever plays better

Ian Bell, who used to play for England and became a Series Player when England won the Ashes at home in 2013, thinks that the number of runs scored would change the game. Bell said that since both teams had good bowling, the game would come down to who could score the run and put pressure on the other team in the second half. Bell said,

The weather forecast is pretty good. There will be lots of sunshine all week, so you can expect a good pitch, especially in the beginning of the game.

There may be a little spin at the end.” It will be a fun game, but I hope the pitch will be good and that all five days will be fun. It will be interesting to see what the two teams do. We know that both teams have world-class bowlers, so tell us how many runs you can score. In England, if a team scores a lot of runs, they can put a lot of pressure on the other team at the end of the game. So, what you should focus on, in my opinion, is the unit hitting.

Ross Taylor – Choosing: Australia

Ross Taylor of New Zealand, who became a star when his team beat India in the 2021 Test World Championship Final, also thinks that Australia has a small edge over the best team in the world.

Taylor’s statement was supported by the fact that they had played in the UK before and that India’s injury was making them weaker, though he did say that the toss of the coin could be important.

Taylor said, “It would be interesting to see how much grass the winner of a coin toss leaves on the pitch.” India likes to play two spinners, so it’s hard to say if they can be the last circle. But I think Australia comes here a lot for the Ashes series, and India losing Bumrah is a big deal.

So I thought that tossing coins would be important, but based on my first guess, I would lean a little more towards Australia, mostly because India has been hurt and Australia has played here before.
